Jefferson City,MO : Teen hurt in lake area wreck on May,Tuesday 29th 2018

A Versailles teenager was injured in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Morgan County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Route W, just east of Marvin Cutoff Road.

Kaylee Howard, 17, swerved to miss an animal in the road. She went off the right side of the road, struck a road sign and overturned her car.

Howard was wearing a seat belt and was treated for moderate injuries.
