Nashville, TN : 18-year-old woman killed in Kodak hit-and-run on Saturday, October, 14th 2017

Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a overnight hit-and-run that left one woman dead in Kodak on Saturday.

Alexis R. Harnage, 18, of Kodak died after being struck by a passing car while walking along the north side of Douglas Dam Road near Underwood Cemetery Road in Kodak at just after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, according to the THP. An unknown vehicle headed west struck Harnage and continued without stopping, according to the report.

An investigation into the incident is underway, and information from a crash report suggests that the vehicle was a white pickup truck with wooden side racks and a homemade bed, with possible damage on the passenger side.
