NEWBURY, MA : Georgetown man hurt in I-95 motorcycle crash on May, Sunday, 21st 2017

A Georgetown man was airlifted via medical helicopter to a Boston area hospital Sunday after crashing his motorcycle on an Interstate 95 exit.

Christopher Tentindo crashed about 8:53 p.m. while on the off-ramp to Exit 55 in Newbury, according to state police.

State and Georgetown police were ready to close both sides of the highway to allow a medical helicopter to land. But the decision was made to transport Tentindo to Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport. From there, a helicopter flew him to Boston.
