Greensboro, AL : Teenager ejected from car, dies in Hale County crash on Friday, October 7, 2016

A crash early Friday morning left a teenager dead in Hale County.

Senior Trooper Reginal King said the incident happened around 12:45 a.m. Friday. Milando Willie Denzel Merriweather, 19, was driving a 1997 Ford Ranger when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned.

The teen was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car.

Merriweather, of Demopolis, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash happened on Alabama 69 near mile marker 114, four miles north of Greensboro.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating the incident.
