Two people with non-life threatening injuries were brought to a local hospital after a crash on West Main Road near the Middletown line Monday during the late-afternoon commute.
The Portsmouth Fire Department received a call at 5:47 p.m. to respond to a motor vehicle accident on West Main Road at Prescott Point.
Capt. Dominic Lautieri said two rescue vehicles were dispatched to the scene along with an engine and command car. He said the rescues were on the scene for about 10 to 15 minutes before taking the people to a hospital. He declined to name which hospital or hospitals the patients were being taken to.
