EDGERTON, OH : Pedestrian killed in hit-skip crash in Williams County on Wednesday, February 15th 2017

Authorities are seeking assistance with an unsolved fatal hit-skip crash today in Williams County.

An unknown driver apparently struck and killed a bicyclist about 6:44 a.m. on U.S. Route 6 near County Road 4-50. The cyclist was dead when troopers arrived, according to the Defiance post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Investigators believe the vehicle's front right side, including headlight, may be damaged. Officials have not found any witnesses.

The victim's family has yet not been notified. Those with information are urged to call the patrol at 419-784-1025.
