GREGG COUNTY, TX : 1 dead in I-20 crash in Gregg County on Thursday, 21st March 2024

A person was killed in a crash on I-20 in Gregg County Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened near FM 2087 in the eastbound lanes of I-20. Traffic was rerouted to 2087 as I-20 was cleared of the wreckage. At least one person was confirmed dead in the crash, with no other reports of injuries from responders on the scene.

Kilgore Fire and Rescue, Texas DPS, and Gregg County Sheriff’s Office personnel were called to assist in the incident. JP Robbie Cox was also present.
