Three people have been charged with providing alcohol to a 20-year-old who officials say killed two people in a drunken driving crash in Texas in February.
Charges for the bartender and two men who provided drinks to the driver and another minor, were announced Thursday by the Harris County district attorney’s office.
The driver, Veronica Rivas, has been charged with intoxication manslaughter in Feb. 28 crash that killed Shayla Joseph, 36, and her 3-month-old son, Braylan Jabari Joseph, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Devin Jackson, 24, and John Medina, 23, both face charges of furnishing alcohol to a minor. Bartender Amy Allen, 40, is charged with being criminally negligent in allowing a minor to consume alcohol on licensed premises.
