Seattle, WA : 2 injured in horrific South Seattle car crash early Tuesday, March 28, 2017
Two young people were injured early Tuesday in a horrific wreck that left a car wrapped around a tree in South Seattle, officials said.
Police and medics rushed to the scene, in the 1000 block of South Cloverdale Street, at about 2:15 a.m. after receiving reports of a serious crash with two people trapped.
It reportedly took crews 45 minutes to extricate the driver from the crumpled wreckage. A passenger also was injured. Both were rushed to Harborview Medical Center. Their conditions were not immediately available.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are under investigation. It's believed the car was traveling at high speed when it crashed.
