Bloomington, IL : Man died in fatal Twin City crash early Saturday, October 29, 2016

A 35-year-old Bloomington man was killed early Saturday after a car crash on Oakland Avenue near Meadows Street, and a second man was injured.

Preliminary autopsy results indicate Christopher Cunningham, who was pronounced dead at 3:32 a.m. at the scene, died of blunt force neck and chest injuries, McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis said Saturday evening.

Toxicology testing is pending, she said.

No information was provided about the injured man and no other details about the crash were released.

The investigation is continuing by the coroner’s office and the Bloomington Police Department.
