North Las Vegas, NV : One killed, two hurt in North Las Vegas crash on Saturday, January 10, 2015

The driver of a Ford Explorer died after a collision with Ford Mustang on Saturday about 4:13 a.m. in North Las Vegas, according to a press release.

Witnesses reported the driver had a green light and was headed south on Simmons Street when struck by the other car traveling west on Craig Road, according to a preliminary investigation by North Las Vegas Police.

The occupants of the Ford Mustang, a 17-year-old male driver and 19-year-old male passenger, did not have life threatening injuries and were transported to UMC Hospital.

Police believe speed and alcohol may have crashed a fatal collision between the two vehicles, according to the report.
