Tioga, NY : Husband killed, wife injured by hit-and-run in Saturday July 26th 2014.

State police say a man was killed and his wife injured when they were struck by a hit-and-run driver while jogging in New York's Southern Tier.

Daniel Manwarring was declared dead at the scene in Tioga around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. His wife, Karen, was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

State police say the 41-year-old husband and 43-year-old wife were struck by a blue Nissan Xterra.

They say they've located the vehicle and identified a person of interest as 33-year-old Jason Townsend of nearby Nichols.
