CONCORD, NH : 4 vehicles, including tractor trailer in Interstate 93 crash on Tuesday, May 30, 2017

A car hit a deer on a New Hampshire interstate and then was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer, sparking a crash that left several people injured and forced the closure of the highway for an hour.

The New Hampshire State Police said the accident happened Tuesday afternoon along Interstate 93, and the road was reopened at about 2:30 p.m. near Exit 14 in Concord.

Police said the occupants in the car that hit the deer were transported to Concord Hospital and were being treated for serious injuries. Two other cars were involved in the accident.
