MOUNT PLEASANT, NY : Danbury woman seriously hurt in wrong-way crash on the Saw Mill Parkway in New York on Tuesday, 28th April, 2020
A Danbury woman was seriously injured when a wrong-way driver collided with her car on the Saw Mill Parkway in New York, according to the Westchester County Police Department.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on the Saw Mill Parkway’s northbound lanes, just north of Marble Avenue in Mount Pleasant, N.Y.
After the crash, police said, the northbound lanes between Marble Avenue in Thornwood and Grant Street in Pleasantville were closed for more than four hours as a result.
Police said 42-year-old Anthony Rodriguez, of Loudon Street in Yonkers, N.Y., drove along Grant Street in Pleasantville before he turned left and started driving south — the wrong way — on the Saw Mill, police said.
