Louisville, KY : 3 nearby crashes on Interstate 264 West by Newburg Road, Bardstown Road and Taylorsville Road on Thursday, 6th February, 2020

Traffic is flowing more easily Thursday morning on the Watterson Expressway after three separate crashes earlier in the morning caused headaches during the morning commute.

Around 8 a.m., the three crashes on Interstate 264 West by Newburg Road, Bardstown Road and Taylorsville Road were blocking several lanes of traffic, according to MetroSafe.

The ramp from Taylorsville Road to I-264 West was also blocked due to a crash happening at the top of the ramp, according to MetroSafe.

But by about 9:15 a.m., lanes were back open by the crash sites and traffic was moving more smoothly, according to TRIMARC.
