Beaufort, SC : Midnight wreck on Broad River Bridge sends three to hospital on Monday, 3rd October 2016

A midnight wreck on the Broad River Bridge sent three people to the hospital on Monday night.

The two-vehicle accident resulted in non-life threatening injuries for two men in a Dodge Charger and a female in a Nissan just before midnight, according to a Burton Fire District news release. All three were transported to Beaufort Memorial Hospital, according to the release.

The Nissan flipped onto its roof as a result of the crash, according to the release.

Both northbound lanes were closed for about two hours while the scene was cleared and the injured were cared for, according to the release.
