Little River County, AR : Three students injured after a pick-up truck crashed into a Ashdown Public School bus on Highway 32 Friday morning, May 6, 2016

Three students were taken to the hospital after a pick-up truck crashed into a Ashdown Public School bus Friday morning.

The crash happened around 7 a.m. on Highway 32 near County Road 11 between Ashdown and Foreman.

The driver told officers on scene as he was following the bus he sneezed and looked up to see the bus had stopped to let a student on board. The driver then crashed into the back of the bus.

The student who was getting on and 2 others were injured in the crash, according to officers on scene. They were taken to Little River Memorial Hospital. One student was transferred to St. Michael hospital in Texarkana with severe injuries. The other 2 reportedly suffered from moderate injuries.

It is unclear if the driver was cited.
