Denver, CO : 26-year-old Pueblo man dies in I-25 crash on Sunday, 15th March, 2020

A Pueblo man died and another person seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash about three miles north of the city on Sunday morning.

Manuel Gallegos Padilla, 26, was ejected from the passenger seat of a 2013 Kia Optima going southbound on Interstate 25 near milepost 106, according to Colorado State Patrol. He was dead at the scene.

Matthew Bernal, 26, of Pueblo was driving the vehicle when it began to scrape a guard rail on the median shoulder. In order to regain control of the vehicle, Bernal had applied steering, the Colorado State Patrol said. He was taken to a nearby hospital and is being treated for serious injuries''
