Beckley, WV : Three-vehicle accident on W.Va. 16 in MacArthur on Sunday, September 17th 2017

Raleigh County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a Friday three-vehicle accident on W.Va. 16 in MacArthur.

Deputies said one of the drivers, Jonathan Obugene, of Beckley, appeared to be under the influence of drugs.

After searching the vehicle, deputies discovered about 2.5 grams of methamphetamine and several pills in the possession of Obugene and his passenger, Ora Matics, of Beckley.

Deputies reported they also discovered scales, syringes and other drug paraphernalia.

Obugene and Matics were both charged with possession with intent to deliver. Ashleigh Obugene, of Beckley, was later arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver.

Sgt. R. White is investigating. Deputies J.A. Redden and R. Queen were the arresting officers.
