St. Louis County, MO : Cromwell woman dies in car crash near Brookston on Thursday, 24th September, 2020

A 42-year-old woman from Cromwell died after a head-on car crash Thursday night in St. Louis County.

Melissa Maria Kalinoski was traveling west on U.S. Highway 2 just east of Brookston when a Chevrolet truck driven by Tony Lee Northrup, 54, of Cloquet, crossed the center line and collided with Kalinoski's vehicle at approximately 8:49 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

He received medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at St. Luke's hospital.
