Woodstock, VT : Man airlifted to the hospital after crash on Route 4 in Woodstock on

A father was airlifted to the hospital Saturday morning after a nasty crash in Woodstock.

Police say Clifford Aker of Chittenden was driving on Route 4 near Echo Ledge Road when he swerved into the other lane and hit a truck that was pulling a horse trailer.

Aker was thrown from his car and pinned under it.

His two children were also in the car. They were taken to the hospital too.

The driver of the truck was not hurt.

Police say the crash is still under investigation, and there may be charges.
