Hartford, CT : Three people killed in separate crashes at Route 2 Friday night August 7th 2015
Police are investigating three fatal road crashes in Connecticut.
Two people were killed in separate accidents in East Hartford a few minutes apart on Friday night. A third person died Friday afternoon in a truck-car crash in Coventry.
Police said 26-year-old Kamron Redding-Hall of Hartford was fatally injured at about 10:10 p.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle on Interstate 84 near exit 55, striking a guardrail. He died at Hartford Hospital.
Police were called about 10:15 p.m. to a crash on Route 2. Twenty-year-old Brandon Gothberg lost control of his SUV and struck an overhead traffic sign support. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of a car that collided head-on with a dump truck on Route 6 in Coventry at 4:30 p.m. was pronounced dead after being flown to Hartford Hospital.
