Boise, ID : Woman dies from injuries following three-car crash in Boise Thursday night on October 16, 2014

A 70-year-old Boise woman has died from injuries sustained in a three-car crash in Boise Thursday night. According to the Ada County Coroner, Susan K. Wymer died late Thursday night of complications of blunt force trauma. Multiple people were taken to the hospital following the crash on State Street and Ellens Ferry Road Thursday night. Witnesses told police that a car was traveling the wrong direction on State when it collided with another car, causing it to spin out and crash into an SUV. Police said the driver of the first car was ejected in the crash. Both he and his female passenger were taken to the hospital. Officers said the elderly driver of the car that was struck had to be extricated from the vehicle. Eastbound State Street was blocked while crews investigated the accident.
