MADISON, WI : One person taken to hospital after crash on Madisons west side on Thursday, 21st December 2023

Madison police say one person was taken to the hospital after a crash at Verona Road and Highway 12 Thursday night.

The crash happened at about 9:15 p.m. when one of the drivers misread a traffic signal and ran a red light, crashing with another car and causing it to roll.

Madison police said one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver who ran the red light did not show any signs of being impaired but was ticketed for running the red light.
