Clark County ,OH : 28- Years old Denton Woodruff in Critical Condition after another motorcycle rider crashed into him on Saturday ,May 9th 2015

A Springfield motorcyclist remains in critical condition today following a Friday night crash in front of Reid Elementary School.
Denton Woodruff, 28, was not wearing a helmet when another motorcycle rider crashed into him while they were headed north in the 3600 block of Ohio 41 (East High Street), the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Springfield Post reported.
Woodruff was flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, where he was listed in critical condition Saturday.
The collision happened when a motorcyclist, 24-year-old Derek Johnson of Springfield, was riding behind Woodruff and went to pass between Woodruff and a car, according to the patrol’s preliminary report.
Johnson, who also was not wearing a helmet, was not injured, troopers said.
The crash remains under investigation.
CareFlight was called to a motorcycle crash tonight in Clark County.
The two-vehicle crash was reported at 10:10 p.m. near Reid Elementary School, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Springfield Post.
The school located in the 3600 block of East High Street in Springfield Twp.
No further information was immediately available on the number of vehicles involved or what led to the crash.
