One person was killed in Rich burg road Mississippi

Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict has released the name of the victim involved in a one-vehicle accident Thursday on Richburg Road.

Janice Bennett, 53, of Lamar County died from multiple injuries after a vehicle accident involving a tree.

The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. when strong winds blew over a tree, tangled with power lines into the vehicle.
