Burlington ,VT : 24- Years old Woman injured after she darted into traffic and was hit by a car in Vermont's largest city on Monday ,March 16th 2015

The condition of a 24-year-old Massachusetts woman is improving after police say she darted into traffic and was hit by a car in Vermont's largest city.

The condition of Stephania Ivanof was initially listed as critical after she was struck Monday on Burlington's Battery Street.

Ivanof was taken to the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. She was listed as fair on Tuesday.

Police say witnesses told them that the Marshfield, Massachusetts, woman ran into the road. The driver of the car was not hurt.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Burlington police.
