Bath Township, OH : 31-year-old Mark Snyder died in a fatal crash on E. Kitridge Road on Tuesday night, March 8, 2016

Emergency crews are investigating a deadly crash Tuesday night. Authorities confirm one fatality.

The crash was reported around 8 p.m. in the 4100 block of Kitridge Rd.

A Bath Twp. police sergeant says an SUV driven by 31-year-old Mark Snyder hit a Chevy Malibu head-on. Snyder’s vehicle went off the right side of the road, hit a power pole and overturned.

Snyder and his passenger, 26-year-old Chadley Robinson, were both ejected.

When emergency crews arrived on scene, they say bystanders were performing CPR on one of the men. Snyder died at the scene. Robinson was taken to Miami Valley Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The 54-year-old female driver of the Malibu was trapped pinned inside her vehicle. She suffered critical injuries.

Witnesses reported that Snyder was trying to pass at a high rate of speed when he hit the Malibu.

Fire and EMS crews from Fairborn and Huber Heights provided assistance at the scene.
