Corvallis, OR : Two-vehicle collision briefly closes Highway 20 on Wednesday, January 25th 2017
Traffic was blocked for about half an hour Wednesday night by a two-car collision on Highway 20 at Granger Road east of Corvallis.
Preliminary information at the scene indicated the wreck occurred a few minutes after 7 p.m. when a Ford F-350 crew cab pickup attempted to turn left from Granger into the eastbound lane of Highway 20 and struck a compact four-door sedan traveling west on the highway.
The driver of the sedan was taken away by ambulance with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported, and there were no occupants besides the drivers in either vehicle.
The pickup pulled off the road under its own power, and emergency responders pushed the sedan out of the intersection and onto the shoulder of the highway. The road was cleared and traffic moving again by about 7:30 p.m.
