Manhattan, NY : Four people injured in a chain-reaction crash at Lincoln Center On Monday May 9th, 2016
Authorities say a chain-reaction crash in New York City left at least four people injured, one critically.
It happened near Lincoln Center in Manhattan Monday evening. The crash involved a taxi, a Con Edison van and a food cart.
Taxi driver Michael Parvez tells the Daily News he had picked up two passengers when someone hit him. Parvez says he braked and was hit again, causing him to lose control of the cab.
WNBC-TV reports police say the food cart operator suffered burns to his face and arms after it flipped with him inside.
Police say the cart fell on two other people. Both are in stable condition.
Authorities say another woman is in critical condition.
Police are searching for the driver suspected of causing the crash.
