BROCKTON, MA : Car crashes into Brockton home on Saturday, 3rd November 2018

A black pickup truck crashed into a home at 34 Cherry St. on Saturday afternoon shortly before 4.

The driver of the vehicle was taken into police custody after he was examined by emergency medical technicians. No serious injuries were reported, according to police spokesman Darren Duarte.

The driver is currently being booked by police, so Duarte could not share his identify or the charges for which he was arrested.

Gas meters servicing the Cherry Street home were damaged during the crash, potentially leaving its residents without heat until the system is repaired.
