LOUISVILLE, KY : 29-year-old killed in car accident on Gene Snyder near New Cut Road on Sunday, 6th August 2023

A man is dead after a car crash on a Louisville highway on Sunday.

Around noon, Louisville Metro Police officers were dispatched on a report of a single-vehicle collision on I-264 South just before New Cut Road.

Authorities on scene found Martin Heinly, 29, who had driven his sedan off the roadway and into a nearby tree. Crews had to extract him from his vehicle.
