Oologah, OK : 32-year-old woman, 11-year-old boy die in car crash near Oologah Dam on Saturday, Sep 12, 2015

Authorities say a 32-year-old woman and an 11-year-old boy have died after a crash in Oologah.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Andy Floyd, the incident happened around 4 p.m. Saturday near the Oologah Dam. Floyd said the 34-year-old driver of a vehicle lost control and missed a curve just before the dam causing the car to crash through a barricade and roll down a hill before it fell off an embankment.

According to authorities, Angela Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. The 11-year-old boy was taken to a hospital, where authorities say he died of his injuries Sunday.

Troopers say a 6-year-old boy who was also in the vehicle was taken to the hospital in stable condition and the driver of the vehicle was transported in serious condition.
