BELVIDERE, IL : 10 Belvidere Central Middle School students taken to area hospitals after bus crash on Wednesday, 7th September 2016

As many as 10 Belvidere Central Middle School students were taken to Belvidere and Rockford hospitals after a school bus collided with a car and tipped over onto its side this afternoon near Orth and Beloit roads in Boone County.
North Boone District 2 Fire Chief Brad Bartell said 35 children were on the bus and none were seriously injured.
In addition to the students, the bus driver and the driver of the car also were taken to the hospital with injuries not believed to be serious.
