BATH COUNTY, VA : 62-year-old dies in motorcycle crash on Route 39, four tenths of a mile west of Route 621 on Friday, 2nd August 2019

A motorcycle crash in Bath County resulted in a fatality Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 1:35 p.m. on Route 39, four tenths of a mile west of Route 621 in Bath County.

A motorcycle was traveling west on Route 39, when the motorcycle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver was identified as Robert Edward Walden, 62, of Lambertville, NJ. He died at the scene.
