Louisville, KY : Woman seriously injured in tractor accident at 900 Nerinx Road near Loretto on Saturday afternoon, April 9, 2016

A Willisburg woman is in serious condition at University Hospital in Louisville after a tractor accident Saturday afternoon.

According to Marion County Sheriff Jimmy Clements, the accident occurred at 1:57 p.m. on a farm located at 900 Nerinx Road near Loretto.

Julie Robinson, 25, of Willisburg was scraping manure when she lost control of the tractor and overturned into a manure pond, Clements said.

Robinson was pinned underneath the tractor for an undetermined amount of time, and sheriff’s deputies initially thought the incident was going to be a fatality, Clements said. However, emergency personnel on scene were able to revive her, and she was transported by Marion County EMS to Spring View Hospital. She was then flown to Louisville where, as of press time, she remains in serious condition.
