Nashville, TN : Vehicle overturns during crash on I-440 West near Hillsboro pike on Thursday morning, July 2, 2015

Three cars were involved in a crash on Interstate 440 on Thursday morning, backing up traffic for miles.

The wreck happened just after 6 a.m. Thursday at 21st Avenue.

A driver and passenger were reportedly trapped inside one of the vehicles, which had overturned.

There is no word if anyone was injured or on what caused the crash.

All lanes of I-440 have since reopened in the area.
