Ankeny, IA : One person killed and child seriously injured in a vehicle crash on Friday February 12 2016

Police say one person has been killed and a child seriously injured in a crash in Ankeny that left a vehicle on its side between two trees.
The crash Friday around noon. One person died and the child was flown by air ambulance to a Des Moines area hospital.
The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle before it left the road and went into a ditch. The car ended up on its side, wedged between two trOfficials have not released the names of those involved and the crash remains under investigation.
