Topeka,KS : Indiana man killed in rollover crash Tuesday night in western Kansas on June, Wednesday 28th 2017

An Indiana man was killed Tuesday night in a one-vehicle crash in western Kansas, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 9:40 p.m., about 3 miles south of Beeler in Ness County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2001 International truck was northbound on County Road C when, for an unknown reason, the driver left the road to the left, returned to road and overturned, rolling once.

The driver, identified as Justin D. Leighty, 41, of Warsaw, Ind., was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The patrol said Leighty wasn’t wearing a seat belt.

The patrol said there were no additional occupants in the truck.
