A vehicle accident in Farmington on Tuesday afternoon led to one person being transported to the hospital.
A call for a vehicle accident with entrapment was received at 12:31 p.m. for the intersection of Helen’s Run Road and Kellytown Road in Farmington, according to the Marion County 911 Center log.
The accident involved one vehicle. The woman in the car was able to get out of the vehicle without having to be cut out, according to the 911 center.
The accident led to her being transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital. The road was closed for a very brief time due to the accident, according to the 911 center.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department, the Farmington Volunteer Fire Department, the Worthington Volunteer Fire Department, the Monongah Volunteer Fire Department and the Marion County Rescue Squad responded to the scene, according to the 911 center.
