Shawnee, OK : A Maud woman was injured in a motorcycle accident in Pontotoc County on Monday, August 28, 2017

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the accident occurred on SH3W, about one mile west of Ada.

Winterstar TC Narcomey, 22, Maud, was driving a 2006 Daelim motorcycle eastbound on SH3W, the patrol said. She reportedly failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of the cycle, laying it down in the roadway, the OHP said.

She was taken by Mercy EMS to Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, where she was admitted in good condition with a leg injury. Cause of collision was listed as unsafe speed on a curve.
