Dickenson County, VA : Abingdon man killed in ATV crash on Friday, 2nd August 2024

An Abingdon man was killed in an ATV crash that happened on Friday in Dickenson County, according to Virginia State Police.

Police said the crash happened on Route 697. According to authorities, the driver was heading northbound, about a mile south of Rock Lick Road, when the vehicle went off the left side of a road and hit a tree.

The driver, identified as 44-year-old Kenny E. Collin, Jr., died at the scene.
