A Jacksonville woman died after losing control on Burnt Store Road early Monday Morning.

When police arrived, they found the blue Chevy sonic overturned on the side of the road. It was so badly damaged that the make was initially hard to determine.

Investigators say the woman was driving northbound on Burnt Store Road near Durden Parkway when she lost control for unknown reasons just before 3 a.m.

The vehicle went into a vacant lot and rolled over several times before landing upside down. The woman - identified as 51-year-old Cindy Gutierrez - was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Police say she was not wearing a seat belt, and they believe the crash was alcohol or drug related. However, final determination is pending autopsy results.
