I-75 rollover crash in Collier County involved Lehigh Acres, Cape Coral drivers

A Lehigh Acres man suffered serious injuries in a two-car crash about 5:30 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 75 near mile marker 114, Florida Highway Patrol said in a release.
Troopers said Kurtis F. Beach, 34, of Cape Coral was driving a Toyota Solara north on I-75 and failed to slow, striking a Ford Escape driven by Louis F. Barahona, 57, of Lehigh Acres. Beach’s car continued across the interstate onto the shoulder. The car driven by Barahona veered into the media, flipping.

Collier Med-Flight took Barahona to Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers.Beach was cited for careless driving, troopers said.
