SCOTT COUNTY, MO : Drivers injured in 2-vehicle crash on Monday, 8th July 2024

Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Scott County on Monday afternoon, July 8.

The crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. on MO 77, approximately 3 miles north of Oran.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 58-year-old Leslie W. Wright, of Oran, was driving south when his pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a northbound semi.

Wright was rushed to a Cape Girardeau hospital with serious injuries.
