1 dead after 2 semis, car collide on New Mexico

Westbound I-40 is back open near Moriarty after a fatal crash involving three vehicles on Sunday night.The crash took place before 8 p.m. about three miles east of Moriarty. New Mexico State Police report two semis and a passenger vehicle were involved in the crash.According to NMSP Sgt. Emmanuel Gutierrez, a person from one of the semis is dead and another is listed in critical condition at UNM Hospital.The investigation is ongoing.
