Berlin, NH : Massachusetts man was injured in an ATV crash in Jericho Mountain State Park on Sunday afternoon October 5th 2014

A Massachusetts man is recovering after he was injured in an ATV crash in Jericho Mountain State Park in New Hampshire. State police say 24-year-old Kevin Tavares of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, crashed on a trail after hitting a rock on a steep downhill grade at about 4:20 p.m. Sunday. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin for treatment. Police said Tavares was wearing a helmet and eye protection.
