Phoenix, AZ : Man killed when stolen work truck goes off I-17 near Camp Verde on Tuesday, January 24, 2017
Authorities say a man driving a stolen work truck was ejected and killed when he lost control and the vehicle rolled down a canyon on Interstate 17 near Camp Verde in north-central Arizona.
State Trooper Kameron Lee identified the man killed Tuesday as 29 year old Bradley Burton Moore and said he was a Yuma resident who recently was staying in the Phoenix area.
Lee says troopers weren’t in active pursuit as they followed the truck at a distance for about 95 miles after it was stolen in the Phoenix area.
Lee says troopers twice used spike strips to puncture tires of the truck and that it was driving at high speed on two rims when Moore lost control on a curve about 18 miles past the second spiking.
