Minco, OK : Two Yukon residents killed in a crash on State Highway 81 south of Minco early Wednesday morning, April 27, 2016

Two Yukon residents were killed in a crash south of Minco early Wednesday morning.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials said the victims were heading south on State Highway 81 approximately 4 miles south of Minco in a Ford Focus.

Officials said a semitruck driver attempted to pass another semitruck traveling in the northbound lane, causing the driver of the Ford Focus to take evasive action.

The driver of the Ford Focus over-corrected, entered the northbound lane, and the Ford Focus was struck by another vehicle.

The victims killed in the Ford Focus were identified as Casey Turner, 33, and Anna Steele, 33.
