FARGO, ND : NDSU students journal memories of classmates killed in crash on Tuesday, February 14th 2017

Students at North Dakota State University are writing memorials to two classmates killed in a weekend car accident near Moorhead.

The Biological Sciences Department has provided journals in Stevens Hall so students can express their grief, share memories and offer condolences over the loss of Danie Thomssen and Carson Roney.

KFGO (http://bit.ly/2kptNoX ) says the journals will then be given to the families of Thomssen and Roney.

The two students died late Saturday night in a one-car accident on Interstate 94. Services for Thomssen will be held Friday in Bismarck. Roney’s funeral will take place Saturday in Oakes.
